Welcome to a new school year! I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of you during the orientation days this week, but for those of you who I haven't met my name is Mr. Orr and I will be teaching Health and Physical Education to grades 4-7. I am new to St.Jude's Academy and new to Ontario an I am very excited to get the year under way. A few reminders for you at the start of the year:
There will be house games being played throughout the first week. Make sure you know what house you are a part of. Friday will be house colour dress up day. Make sure to support your house team! Go Zeta!
There is a welcome back BBQ being held on Thursday, September 20 from 4-6 pm. Come out and enjoy!
As for information specifically about Physical Education:
Remember that you should be changing out into your Phys. Ed. clothing for every single class. This uniform can include the St.Jude's track pant or shorts and gym shirt. If you haven't yet boght your PE uniform please do so before the start of the school year.
Gym classes for students in Grade 3 and up will take place at the new SJA Athletic Centre on alternate days of the 6-day cycle. Construction at the new site is delayed. Once the site is ready, students will be bused to and from the site. For now all gym classes will take place at SJA.
